Administrative Assistant 2017

Education Unlimited is a leading academic summer camp provider based in Berkeley, CA. We seek a seasonal employee to assist our Admissions Director with customer service and administrative duties.  This is a temporary/part-time position with opportunities for potential job growth into higher level or longer term positions. 


Responsibilities may include: 

  • Communications with clients, staff and vendors including: E-mail, phone, written and in-person communications
  • Document Management including: Formatting, scanning, collection, file preparation and organization
  • Computer/Data Base management including: Data entry, typing, formatting
  • Communications with clients, staff and vendors including: E-mail, phone, written and in-person communications

Necessary Skills: 

  • Detail oriented/organized
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Creative, trustworthy, high-energy, flexible problem solver willing to learn new skills
  • General computer skills with PC and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Etc.  

Minimum desired qualifications: 

  • 1-2 years of college or significant workplace experience
  • Experience with a youth focused or education company (K-12)
  • Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry boxes of up to 20 pounds, including up stairs
