Marketing Associate

Education Unlimited is a leading academic summer camp provider based in Berkeley, CA. We seek a highly motivated marketing associate who will report to members of the company's executive team. This is an opportunity to contribute directly to the success of our growing educational services company. The marketing associate will work closely with company leadership to implement all of our major marketing efforts, including print, web/email and social. 

Primary responsibilities will include, but aren't limited to: 

Manage, develop and improve social media properties and campaigns
Implement all email campaigns, leading the design and development of these campaigns
Work with external designer and vendors to design and produce print marketing materials and mail campaigns
Provide copy editing and content creation for printed and web marketing materials and compaigns
Develop and support content marketing such as website copy, blog posts, etc.
Support and develop marketing partnerships such as 
Manage camp fairs and conference schedules
Organize and track effectiveness of marketing campaigns; produce regular reports and budgets
Occasionally support sales/customer service efforts

Necessary skills: 

Detail oriented/organized
Initiative and follow-through
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Strong writing and copy editing skills
Creative, trustworthy, high-energy, flexible problem-solver willing to learn new skills
Some proficiency in small business marketing tools such as MailChimp, Google Analytics, etc. 
General computer skills with PC and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Etc.  
Photoshop  In Design skills a plus
Basic HTML skills a plus

Minimum desired qualifications: 

2-3 years or more of significant workplace experience in a related role (marketing, brand management, etc.), with demonstrated success
Experience with an education company (K-12) a plus
Social media marketing experience a plus
